Construction on 210 E. Jackson Building, to the west of The Riverbend, began in spring 2023.

The Riverbend Building in Elkhart’s River District opened at 240 E. Jackson Blvd. in June 2022. Home to Lake City Bank, Edward Jones, Navarre Hospitality Group, weIMPACT Group, Patrick Industries, RSM, Barnes & Thornburg and the Community Foundation of Elkhart County, The Riverbend Building also features Bird in the Hand restaurant and The Jackson Rooftop bar.

Elkhart Opportunity Fund and Century Builders collaborate for the development of Zone 1, surrounding Elkhart Health and Aquatics within the River District. Together, we are providing a comprehensive, expeditious and financially advantageous development plan for the City of Elkhart to address its market-rate housing shortage and need for Class-A commercial property to attract the ability to revitalize Elkhart.

900 JCKSN, formerly named Portage Place, is anticipated to be a private condo project with framed public views of a beautiful new courtyard and the St. Joe and Elkhart Rivers. This project has a total estimated development cost of $8M-12M, generating incremental tax revenue for our community. More importantly, these residents will live, work and recreate in our community. They will shop at the new Martin’s grocery store, dine at local establishments, frequent retail storefronts and support our community.
